Is it normal that my boyfriends turns down sex?

i sometimes find myself in a situation with my boyfriend where i really want to have sex and i realise he does too because i notice he gets hard but then he says: not now babe, this not a good timing. even though i try my best to get him more horny for him to give in he sticks to saying, not now...
this leaves me questioning myself? how can this guy say no to sex? who cares if say were not alone at home there are things called keys to lock the doors. could it be that im not his favourite sexual fantasy? or am i dealing with a gay or bi man who just didnt come out the closet yet?

    This is completely normal. Sex is a lot of work for a man, only to get the 10-15 seconds of pleasure surrounding an orgasm.

    I know 2 other girls that experience this same thing. Their reasons to their girlfriends were that they are tired. If you offered to be on top would it maybe change his mind? Just cause he's horny doesn't mean he feels up to all that exercise lol I have a boyfriend, and I was caught up in the stereotypes to. When he said no to me I was like...huh? I thought guys want it all the time? Men are only human lol Just like women, sometimes they just don't want to

    Yes, it's normal for men to turn down sex sometimes. It's just as normal as it is for women to turn down sex. It's possible to be physically aroused but not up for sex, too.
