Hm. lots of opinions voiced but none i really agree with 100%, so i guess it's time to write myself...

First of all: How openly do you talk about sexuality? How often do you initiate sex?
It sounded a bit like "I'm horny all the time and whenever he wants, we can have sex". While many guys prefer to be the initiating part when it comes to sex, many also want the female to express her sexuality...that is, come on to him, show him that she desires him...even "use" him for their satisfaction.

Also, almost everybody i know or knew kept masturbating during relationships. Sometimes you are just too tired after a long day to still have sex(especially true for guys if you're letting them do most of the work), sometimes the partner is not available when you're in the mood(e.g. when i'm in at work), sometimes you just want another phantasy(and don't want to look your boyfriend into the eyes as you imagine black bulky twins double-teaming you and your best friend, or, in the case of your boyfriend, not looking in your eyes as he imagines himself with a swedish exchange student and your sister).

A boyfriend long ago explained to me that he likes phantasizing(and watching porn) about girls that look different from me, things he doesn't get from me, e.g. big breasts. Thats not to say he would have preferred such a girl. His next girlfriend and now his wife were/are both almost as flatchested as i am. *shrug* Guys seem to dig diversity a bit and fulfill that desire with porn. As long as you have a vivid sex life and are satiesfied i wouldn't worry too much about it.
