Normal to fantasise about it, very common in fact. Not normal to do it and it will seriously screw up your relationship. If you're both young and are just together for convenience then go have some fun, but not otherwise.

Who says threesomes screw up a relationship now? Didnt screw up mine. :D

Were in an open relationship but we couldnt be closer, and we rarely bring anyone else into the picture. :P Dont have that much desire to, but we're up for fun if fun happens, hahaha.

An 'open relationship' is a lifestyle choice. I don't ever want an open relationship, I am completely monogamous and always have been. I personally believe in marriage vows and the specialness of the loving relationship of two people. That's how I am. I don't understand others doing it, but I'm more accepting of younger people experimenting who aren't in a serious relationship.

Well thats fine for you and all, but that doesnt mean that people cannot have a relationship that is both open and serious. I cant say that for mine yet, we've only been together about half a year but we love each other very much and are realistically looking at the potentiality of something long term. That being said, we'll keep our relationship open unless we decide otherwise, holding to the distinction that we are together. We are in love. Thus we are each others first priority and anything else is just some fun on the side.

And I dunno if I could say I believe in the specialness of marriage vows considering the divorce rate nowadays. Marriage is simply a state instituted union.
I believe in the specialness of the bond that can be shared between the right two people, regardless of anything else.

I can't say whether you're male or female from your name. But it's an unusual woman who can make those distinctions, I'm not one of them. Mostly it appears to be the men who want this and I have no idea why! I'm not judging you, just explaining why it's not for me.

In fact the thought of going with anyone else for real (i.e. threesome) is an absolute 'turn off' for me, actually it scares the hell out of me and makes me feel very vulnerable. That's not to say I don't enjoy the fantasy, but like most fantasy's their great fun to play at or talk about and stimulate the imagination, but I'd never do them in real life.

No. Not if you're using the word "sum".
