Is it normal that my boyfriend totally disregarded that i am horny.

I just texted my boyfriend saying that I was in the mood for some good loving. It's true, I can't concentrate because I, sorry for being so blunt, am horny. He texts back saying "the more you wait the better." I then respond "yeah, speak for yourself." He then adds "jeez calm down what do you want me to do about it? After this i say "nothing nevermind." His next text says "I know you want me to get you but I'm tired." Now I could understand if he really were tired but i spent the night because i didn't have work and my class didn't start till 4:00pm today. We woke up at 1:00pm. He went to work late and got out at 6 from what he texted me. He worked out for an hour but that was earlier on when he got home (again what he texted me). We've been dating for a year so i know his routine. Despite some extent of sore muscles after working out wouldn't any guy be thrilled and more than ready to go especially if his girlfriend says she's horny. I'd figure it'd be hot to say that to a guy. So, I ask, is this normal? (in addition yesterday we spent the whole day in together and didn't have sex at all. We had sex a grand total of once this weekend and usually it's more. However yestersay he seemed more concerned with drinking than getting down. He's distant lately as well. We are young I might add 21. Sex drives = raging at our age.)
