Boyfriend's mom always makes comments about how he is never home to see her, but we visit every week for dinner.
Does he have younger siblings? Maybe she's lonely and misses his company.
She probably doesn't want you doing too much "funny business"
And the fact she may be attached and lonely. Or even jealous if shes single.
My friends mums occasionaly try to get their sons out of their girlfriends grabby little paws, out of sheer spite that their girlfriend may not be good enough :/ 100% normal, if you stay with him a while you will be approaching the much hated world of the "in-laws.."
Listen, she's probably super attached to him. It's super normal, but that is something he has the responsibility to deal with. He has to talk to her and reason with her. Don't worry, it's just a momma missing her baby. And who knows, she might be going through something that he used to always be her "rock" with that he can't be anymore? Have patience.
