As rude as this sounds, my boyfriend has foreskin. (google it if you don't understand) and it smells. EVEN right after he showers.. We usually do it after he showers.. and he showers 1-2 times daily.. It's weird, and I want to know why foreskin has an awful smell to it... I love him regardless, I just want to know if it's normal.
It's bacteria he needs to wash better and air dry or get him checked out if that doesn't change
Not normal. My ex-partner had his foreskin and it never smelled. He was very hygienic and always kept himself very clean. If your boyfriend's foreskin smells, he's either not cleaning himself properly or he's got an infection.
i myself am circumcised, but i remember learning about foreskin in high school health class. they said you're supposed to clean it regularly to avoid bacteria and dirt getting under there. maybe he doesn't clean it?

My hubby is not "cut" either - I'm glad. He's clean, never an odor. Our boys are not circ'd either - and they're glad of it. If a guy washes his penis the way he washes any other part of his body, there should be no reason for odors nor excessive smegma - head cheese.

The awful smell is bacteria. my bf is uncut but he always washes it with soap and water and it doesn't smell. that would be a major turn off
It's normal for uncircumcised men to have foul smelling penis if they don't wash properly and do not get rid of every bit of smegma that build up under their foreskins. It's smegma that is causing the fishy odor. Showers per se will not get rid of the smell, uncut men must pull down their foreskin and wash every gunk under. Even a tiny bit of smegma left under the foreskin can cause the penis to reek. Men should also make sure to dry their genitals and surrounding areas thoroughly before dressing up as moisture can harbor odor-causing microbes. Apart from proper washing and drying, tell your boyfriend to apply some ToppCock hygiene gel for good measure.
The problem is most likely that he washes TOO much. This is probably drying out the mucosa of his glans, which causes it to over-produce sebum [skin oil]. Most guys with loose skin don't have any smell, so your boyfriend's is probably fairly tight and air isn't getting to it.

That's not normal it shouldn't smell that bad it could be an infection or something probably best to get that checked out
