Is it normal that my boyfriend likes more than just me?

My new boyfriend of two weeks is just now telling me he's still in love with his ex. He was with her for 10 months. We can call her Allie. They are still close friends even though she moved about an hour away for college.

He also said he still likes his other ex girlfriend a lot. They also dated for 10 months and then she broke up with him. We'll call her Courtney. She wants to get back with him now.

He is an amazing guy and I like him more than i've ever liked anyone else. (even though its been happening sooo fast!) I never throw my feelings around, so when I say things like that...I really mean them! He says he likes me a lot & shows me that he absolutely adores me so I know he means it. I'm just kinda insecure about this situation and I want him to "choose" me. I'm also feeling very threatened and scared that Courtney (or Allie) will take him away from me. :(

My question is, is it normal than he's still in love with girl #1 & still likes girl #2 quite a bit while dating me?

    I would say it's kind of normal, but then again I'm also polyamorous. But just in the way the human psyche is, once you're been really close to someone it's difficult not to feel differently about them after the fact.

      but it's better to be insecure than over confident. I can't stand that kind of pretentious confidences, like they are forcing out their confidence to show people how confident they are, to me it looks like they are doing it to hide how confident they really aren't, I'm not so sure everyone else catches on though and just give them the benefit of the doubt. Humbled confidence is where its at.

    By telling u he's still in love with other girls is like telling u to get the hell away. It would b one thing if he did still miss her but telling you is a big diss! Fuck him (not literally)
