No, that is not normal at all. If you tell him to stop and he doesn't and keeps going anyway that is technically rape. Rough sex is normal if it is happening between two consenting adults. I like rough sex myself but I would stop right when my partner told me to stop. You might be in a relationship with a potentially dangerous person.
