Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 13 months. We've had fights but we got through them and we're still in love. We used to text all the time, but sometimes i got sad when he had to go. Recently he hasn't been texting me as much. We usually text all the time and i've talked to him and he told me cause i get sad, but i dont get sad all the time when he has to go. It seems like he's avoiding me and everytime i ask him why he didn't text me back even though he got my messages he says cause he doesn't feel like talking to anyone cause he's playing xbox with his friends. I know he needs time to, but i just dont know why he doesn't text me back anymore. He'll reply once but he'll just randomly stop replying in the middle of the conversation and i dont know what this means? please help!

    Sounds like you might be smothering him and he just wants some time alone, which is perfectly normal.. Sounds like you might be reading into this too much as well.

    It's his way of staying on top. If you stop giving a crap he will notice. He loves the fact that you hang on his every word like some love sick puppy. Ignore him for a couple of weeks and see what happens!

    hey idk if he is the same way but i have ADD unless i am ubssed with somone ill somtimes forget i am have a text conversation with them esspeslay if i am detracted by xbox or face book or crusing with my friends

    Why is it that so many people put so much importance in getting a response to every text? Texting is not real life, heck I even know people who don't answer to everything in real life.

    When I chat with someone on the net, the conversation just ends eventually has it does. When will you sleep if you never stop texting?

    I agree with the two comments above me. And like like Shuggy-chan said, don't take it too personal. Plus, in the past I used to play video games a lot, and sometimes you really just get so in the game, that you don't even wanna stop, so calling someone up on the phone, or texting is just not happening in that moment.

    ^^^ that and maybe, as bad as it sounds?< forgets about u, or rather be talking to hes buddies online then he's girl. dont take it too personal thou, try to treat it like his "Me Time" i mean, go u need "me Time" every once and awhile???
