I just started dating this guy like 3 weeks ago and i can already tell that he's a very cheap guy. We havent been going out much and i feel like he just doesnt wanna spend money. When we went to dinner with a couple that was both our friends (we were seeing eachother at this point) he actually let me me pay for my portion of dinner. He has a really good job so i dont really understand why he's so cheap. I feel like i shouldnt really be offering to pay cause he should be a gentleman and do that.. but then i feel bad because i know he hates spending so much money. what should i do???? should i offer?? or is it just not normal for my boyfriend to be this way?

    he isnt cheap. just because he earns money, that doesnt make him responsible for paying for your meals. tell him that YOU are cheap and you want a sugar daddy and see how long your relationship will last from there.

    I see nothing wrong with paying for what you eat. I don't believe the man should have to pay the entire bill just because he has a penis. I'd try to over look it and not make something as simple as this cause unnecessary problems in the relationship.

    It depends. If he always not paying, then he could be consider being cheap. Because he has a good paying job, that doesn't mean he always has to be paying. It's fair that he pays sometimes and you pay sometimes.

    I'm all for independent women and whatnot, but if a man doesn't pay on most dates, I kick his ass to the curb.

    I would dump him as soon as possible. If he can't man up to pay the damn bill. Than he won't man up to anything else!

    It's not weird to be cheap, but I'd buy dinner. What do you see in each other? I'm pretty cheap, never pay full price.
