Is it normal that my boyfriend hates my piercings?

so ive been with my boyfriend for a year now and he didnt mind me having piercings. but since ive been getting more hes noticed the attention i get from teens and adults and all the positive comments i get and one week ago he told me to take my piercings off angrily and wont tell me why should i take them off ? what should i do ? any advice would be nice.

    I think it's normal for your boyfriend to act that way because you're changing the outer appearance that attracted him to you in the first place, how would feel if he got tattoos all over his body changing what attracted you to him. don't get me wrong though i think piercings rock i have a septum & a tragus myself. your BF though he's reaction might be justified must understand it's your body not "our" body.

    You're changing your body to suite other people's preferences, not his.

    I'm like this too. A girl I used to like got a couple more piercings and now I find her unattractive.

    If I were you, question your BF. Find out what exactly is bothering him...is he jealous? Once you know what is bugging him and why he wants you to take them out, then you can reason with him. If you love him, listen to his feelings. Perhaps he feels like he isn't getting enough attention...I have my nose pierced and my BF has his lip, were even. Maybe your man secretly wants piercings...idk ;)
