Is it normal that my boyfriend feels numb around me?

So recently I've been having some problems with my boyfriend. It seemed like sometimes when we were together, he seemed depressed, tired, and he just wouldnt talk. Then, recently he said that the reason for that was that he felt a numbness somtimes when he was around me. He said he felt like his body shut down? I'm just really confused about this. I was wondering if sombody that shared his expirences could explain things to me?

well idk about that, cause i had something similar with a girl i liked in high school. it was something, believe it or not to do with her scent of smell, it wasnt bad, infact it was strange, but it made me felt numb, and sometimes disorientated. It was like i was slowly being overtaken or drowning or frozing to death, cause i made me feel some how numb. it scared me so much i didnt end up dating her, even thought we messed around a little, and i kinda wish i did now. especially since she is no longer with us..... =/

I agree with @ChasingAfterPond<3, he probably has lost interest in you and he just doesn't know it yet! You should talk to him about it, maybe there's an area in your relationship that's gone cold and he lost interest in the relationship because of it, and maybe you can fix that area so that you guys can be "a couple" again. Try to spice things up a little with him when you do things together! If that doesn't work, then it might be time for both of you to find someone else!

This is definately not normal, im sorry, but i think he has lost interest in you and wont let himself realize it or say anything about it, you need to talk to him about it. Im sorry that this is the case. :(

Not saying this is the case, but if maybe you nag to much, or are constantly talking, he could feel this way. Or maybe he's not ready for a relationship and feels smothered and trapped. It's just a possibility

Give him some space in order to miss you. It does sound as though he's gone off you but he's too cowardly to tell you, so let him miss you enough to come crawling back. Or it's over anyway!
