Every time I try to hold my boyfriend's hand in public or in my house etc.. he says he doesnt like to. We have been together for a year now and im confused?
No its not normal. Would you like to get married with someone that doesnt want to hold your hand???
He might be stingy with affection because he's not that into you? Maybe he just wants to use you for sex? Fuck buddies don't generally hold hands. Ask him to be specific as to why he doesn't like holding hands. Maybe his hands sweat and he doesn't want you to notice. Do you have any warts per chance? Regardless ask him to be specific and if you don't like his answer just move on. Life is too short to waste on the wrong person. If you decide to move on tell him it's because you think of him more as a brother or started feeling non sexual about him.

Instead of holding hands when u want to be close. Just hook your arm through his. If he still doesn't want that then perhaps he has an issue. Ask him what the problem is?

Sweaty hands. I'm sure no one likes that but holding hands is cute. Suggest you hold hands for a few minutes at a time and then let it air. Sweaty hands with me and my man and he's done the handshake with some of his friends like that :o :)
I hate holding hands unless its with my son, feels infantile to hold hands with another adult! But if you like it n he doesn't maybe you can some sort of compromise..... Link arms? (I hate that too)
My boyfriend doesn't like to hold hands either, his hands get a little sweaty and he just don't like that. It's nothing personal, some people are like that.
Some people have issues with holding hands.
Maybe he isn't used to it and it makes him feel weird.
