Is it normal that my boyfriend does this with other men?

I am in a gay, monogamous relationship and my boyfriend has a group of about 4 gay friends that he calls his best friends. On snapchat, he’s admitted that he sends what he calls “tease nudes” to them, and they send them back. He says it’s his way of “joking around with them,” but one of these guys he frequently had sex with before our relationship, and another one he had sexual relations with briefly and then befriended thereafter. When i asked him what sending “tease nudes” entails, he described them as sending “just one ass cheek out with the rest covered by a towel” or “a crotch shot with a shampoo bottle blocking my dick”. Is this normal?

    No, I think it's inappropriate. I think if he's not cheating already that he's sending out invitations.

    I would be ok with it, as long ad he never took it beyond that. Being seen is wonderful and adds an element to a relationship you find lacking. But that's just me and I'm not a fan of monogamy anyways

    That's not right. If my boyfriend sent "tease nudes" to other females than myself and claimed it to be a joke i'd be pissed and dump him. That's not how a loyal person acts. Cheating is more than just sex but in the end it comes down to what you find inappropiate personally. I have male friends and I don't send them "tease nudes" OR regular nudes wether i'm single or not and I don't think people send nudes to friends unless there's something more than just platonic friendship going on there. The fact that he's had sex with one of them in the past is even more concerning. Either way it's simply just disrespectful to you and he sounds extremely attention starved and it's usually the people who are attention starved who cheat.

    Its not ideal but otoh you cannot demand he cut all ties to his previous life, that will ruin your relationship. You can however demand he remove the sexual aspect from his interaction with them, if a girl did that with her male bestfriends it would be a super severe scandal, very few boyfriends would accept it so what your partner does is totally unacceptable from a hetero point of view.
