Is it normal that my boyfriend and i got a hotel room to have sex?

So my boyfriend and i recently moved back home for the summer from college and realized we NEVER have any alone time together. So he came up with the idea of staying in a hotel room basically to "fuck all night." It was kind of expensive and I don't really think it was worth it. Nobody else I know has ever done this. Is it really all that common?

    Yep. I do it with my boyfriend. The sex and sleeping in the bed is so worth it

    Actually, it is. But some people are willing to get motels because it's cheaper.
