Is it normal that my boyfriend and i...

..Have been together for nine months and he like hints to me that he wants to be with me for a long time, like he will say things like " my motherinlaw" "we should live by the beach" just stuff like that.. I like hearing those things but why do I feel all weird about hearing him say that? Like we haven't even said "I love you".. And he's talking about our future. I like him a lot but I feel clueless about this... Help!

I think 4 months is about the line for the I love you. Some maybe a lil bit earlier but def at the 5 month. I think if you have gone 5 months with someone and your still not sure if you love them then its prob not right for you.

He sounds very committed to you, so why have you not said the love word? If you are just leading him on, it now time to come clean. Commit or move on, seems to be the normal thing to do here.

Yeah it completely normal, however I find that you've been dating for nine months and haven't said the L word abnormal. Then again you could both have your own reasons for that.

He sounds committed to you. It's not the worst problem you could have. On the other hand, it does seem a bit forward if you haven't even expressed love. But, reversing again, maybe it's his way of saying he loves you. Perhaps it's time you both expressed your feelings for each other in genuine terms as opposed to aspiration.
