Is it normal that my boyfreind doesn't like to cuddle?

When it comes to public displays of affection, he always initiates it. He grabs my hand, puts his arm around me or holds my hand in the car. However, since I have known him, he doesn't like to cuddle in the bedroom. Whenever I try to cuddle with him or lay my head on his shoulder, (like during a movie or after sex), unless it's after oral, he associates it with being clingy. He says that's the only time that I am clingy is in the bedroom. Is this normal? Also any tips or suggestions for me on how to deal with this?

    It all depends on the person, but for me I love cuddling! What's not to love about it?

    It is common, but him saying it's too clingy is bullshit (roughly said.)
    I love to cuddle, it's awesome, but some men might not agree.

    There's no point in forcing it, or talk to him about it, you both have to feel comfortable.
    I'm sure there are other things that make you feel good in bed, not sexually, but emotionally.
