Is it normal that my boobs are tender after lying on my side?

I'm a side sleeper and anytime in lying in the side my breasts feel fine- until I sit up. Then my boob(s) will feel really tender, and it's horrible in the morning after sleeping all night like that. I have small breasts, not at all large.

    Try and sleep on your back more often.
    I don't think sleeping on your side is a problem, but I used to get this all the time and it is very sore.

    I have small breasts and I'm a side sleeper too. I've never experienced it. I hardly ever wear a bra tho cause I don't really need to. Do you?
