Is it normal that my blood turns green?

Whenever I get a cut, nose bleed, or anything, my blood starts to turn green. It comes out red, but after about a minute or so it's green. I don't think this ever happened before, I only started noticing it about a month ago. What could be causing this?

    perhaps it's this....

Sulfhemoglobinemia (or sulfhemoglobinaemia) is a rare condition in which there is excess sulfhemoglobin (SulfHb) in the blood. The pigment is a greenish derivative of hemoglobin which cannot be converted back to normal, functional hemoglobin. It causes cyanosis even at low blood levels.

I've never heard of this, like.... ever.

I'd talk to your doctor about it.

This reminds me of a episode of I Dreamed A Genie. They meet this doctor and he does a test on Genie and then tells her that her blood is green.

I don't think that's normal at all. See a doctor ASAP! If doesn't believe you, than cut yourself in front of him. If he says nothing's wrong, then see another doctor.

Search "blood turning green". There's allot of searches on it and I'm sure they'll help you. You're not the only one.

Good Luck and I hope that helps!

what......the.....hell...... go to the doctor NOW!! i've heard about cases like this in microbiology and you could be suffering from a low level of certain carbon based nutrients( forms of lipids, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, or proteins in your blood cells are altered to react to oxygen strangely) or who knows, you might be a special new case in evolution( hope i didn't offend any anti-evolution people).
