depends where your blood is coming from. darker is from your veins and bright red from your arteries
I heard that blood inside you is red but turns black when it comes into contact with oxygen. I could be totally wrong on this though so don't take my word for it.
Dark maroon for deoxygenated blood is normal.
Light red for oxygenated blood is normal.

I think you may be talking about blood oxygen levels. Oxygenated blood is bright red whereas non-oxygenated blood is a very dark red that looks like a wine red (red wine can sometimes appear black).
You still might want to go see a doctor in case your blood is, in fact, darker than normal and you have some sort of condition that requires medical attention.
I'm the only one that voted normal..? Most blood is like that when it collects... -_-
