Getting the most important things out of the way. Do you have poor blood circulation? Are you diabetic? If the answers are yes you might have lost circulation in your big toe and it will start dying if it hasn't already. Proceed immediately to doctor.

If the answer is no, proceed to doctor anyway.

    Basically .. proceed to doctor.

It could also be nerve damage.

I had something like that, my doctor told me it was a pinched nerve and it should pass in a week or so

It could be diabetic necrosis, if you have diabetes. Or bad circulation. Or a blood clot. Go to the doctor.

I hope it's not swollen as well. Do you recall any recent impacts with a door frame? It could be broken.

    or just poor circulation.

    Anyway, go see a doctor.

Chop it off and be done with it!

j/k It could be nerve damage or bad circulation, you should probably see a doctor.

P.S. For what procedure do they "freeze" your lip?

Did you bump it or drop something on it. It might be broken. Nevertheless, please see a doctor immediately!

    Good Luck!

I don't know the tech. term for it but it could be a "dead toe".
