Is it normal that my bf never says 'i love you'?

So my boyfriend and I have been together for about 2 years now and he won't say 'i love you' to me... Instead he will drag out the really in 'i really like you'. Normally this wouldnt bother me because its a college relationship and stuff like that but every time he says that i reply with 'i love you' and he just looks away llike ' i dont love you back' . I feel like the phrase implies that he's not as serious as i am... Am i over thinking this???

    It sounds like he doesnt love you. If he hasnt said it in 2 years, then hes not going to.

    You said it, "its a college relationship". He ain't gonna hang around honey. Obviously, after he's finished school, he'll be finished with you, too.
    Keep it light and don't get overly emotionally involved and you'll be fine.

    I think he doesn't love you, maybe he is just playing with your heart. Be careful and save your heart for the one who deserve it.

    I had a friend whose boyfriend never said he loved her. Cause he didn't (he told her later). He sounds really immature btw

    Doesn't sound like he is very serious about you. After two years, if he actually loved you, he wouldn't be so "indecisive" or "vague" in how he'd word those feelings. He would tell you upfront that he loved you. He isn't going to take this seriously. You are taking seriously. Do yourself a favour and break up with him. Find someone that will want a serious relationship.
