Is it normal that my bf left me for another girl?

Pretty much my bf of 11months left me last week for some girl he just met. He gave me excuses of why he was leaving like that i was being a bitch and stuff, and when i told him i knew it was because of another girl he denied it and 2 days later he told me it was about a girl. Then he told me to remember that he loved me and he also said he knows who he wants "me" and he knows who hes gonna choose "her". Im having a having a hard time getting over him, and after we broke up i didnt eat for 4 days, i couldnt cuz everything made my stomach hurt...i really loved him, im 17 and hes 20 Is he worth it or should i move on?
We had plans for the future and now i feel like i only have a year left to start over and re-think my future.

    i think you should get over this guy. he isnt worth all that pain. you can find someone so much better. my mom always told me dont get mad when u see ur ex with another girl cuz its always good to give to the less fortunate!!!

    Sonfon... You don't know. I don't think you've been through a break up that caused it. So break your fingers. As for for you girl, I was 17 when my bf of 2 yrs dumped me for my bff, 3 wks before the 2yr anniversary. Just take time for yourself and in that time you might find someone who isn't a jerkface.

      i lost 40pounds when i broke up with an ex-gf. I was young believed in love and the sort of crap :P So i kinda believe her :)

    It happens, its normal. But fucked up. Move on, he was 3 years older than you anyways. He probably wanted someone a little bit older.. Stick to people your age.

    He is inconsiderate and doesn't know his own mind. Most people go through tons of different relationships before finding a good match. Many good matches end in divorce. Keep your chin ip and start looking for qualities that you like in a guy. Enjoy your life and not just your relationships. Life never goes as planned. Just figure out what you want and go in that direction. Things will go wrong but things will also work out. Just never give up on life.

    He is doing you a favor. You're too young to tie yourself down, and all those post-break-up things you went through are totally normal. And he has already made his decision so diffidently don't hold on because you'll just keep hurting yourself. He doesn't get to go between the two of you every time he thinks its not going to work with his current girlfriend.
    The same thing happened to me the year I went to college. My boyfriend broke up with me and the very next day he was with someone else...on Valentine's Day lol.
