Is it normal that my bf is this insecure? and that i don't mind?

My boyfriend is really insecure, about everything, especially his apperance. Everything from being too fat (which he absolutely is not at all), to his eyes being to small and his hair being too "puffy". Which is also false. I think he's adorable, and very attractive. I know I'm not the only one who thinks this. He also says stuff like "I'm so lucky to have you" and "I can't believe you love me" and "you're so out of my league, its ridiculous."
Is this normal? For him to doubt himself this much? And even furthur, is it normal for me to be attracted to him even more because of it?

    My guy is exactly like that too!!!! but along with that he's extremely jealous over me too! He's the most handsome guy I've ever seen. I think it's normal...just keep helping him to build his confidence. He'll come around eventually and if this is the guy you plan on being with for a very long time let him know that your not going anywhere...I could be wrong but he might be afraid of losing you and that's why he says he's so lucky to be with you and your out of his league.

    This sounded like me to be quite honest. I do not doubt myself though, only when she compliments do I not agree with certain things. On the other hand, I always tell my girl I am very to lucky to have her and thankful that she loves me. We do not have any problems in our relationship except for the extreme jealousy she has over me but I find that very cute. Good luck, it shouldn't be a problem.

      Nah haha he's really hot, that's the part I don't get! He's like gorgeous and adorable and perfect and he says all this stuff and I'm like "....whaaa??" Lol

    I think most women like the secure guys, but I'm like that sometimes and I've had a very healthy long-term relationship in the past. Just your preference in men I guess!
