Is it normal that my best guy friend puts his girlfriend before me?

My best guy friend of 3 years just started going out with this girl he doesn't even know(vice versa). and they barely ever talk. Whenever I talk to him about it he gets really rude. And the thing is he does this with all his girlfriends. It's really annoying because when he breaks up with her, I'll be the one who's gonna stay. I just feel unwanted, he's always pushing me away. Should I drop him?

    Of course its normal. He's in love with her not you. How do you know they'll break up? You should be happy for him

      But I know he's not in love with her, he's always telling me how awkward it is to be around her, it's not just me he's setting aside, it's all if his friends, for a girl he's known for 2 months. Isn't that a little extreme? He only likes her because she's pretty.

    1. Romance/Sex is greater than friendship in most situations. It's normal for people to focus all their energy on the relationship when it first starts.

    2. You like him as more than a friend, which is why you're getting stupidly jealous and angry.

    If you want all his attention and time, then date him, otherwise, you're going to be 2nd place to every girlfriend.

    Are you a guy or a girl? I'm going to presume a girl. I'm also going to presume early 20's, at best.

    Firstly, young guys usually think with their dicks. In my late teens, I didn't care if my girlfriend spoke to me or not, in fact I hated the whole "I just thought I'd call you up and chat" B.S. - if you want a chat, come over and we can talk after sex!

    Secondly, I think you want to be more than just friends with this guy. I mean seriously, you know he is going to get the shits with you if you "talk about" his girlfriend and their relationship, so, dont talk about it! It's not rocket science!
