Is it normal that my best friend for 8 years got angry at me for this?

My ultra- best friend, to whom I talked 24/7, told everything, shared everything, bought $50+ presents (which means i loved her loads lol!!) for her birthday, i'm gonna love you for ever, etc. etc. etc., got angry at me because i talked too much to her boyfriend, and we have been 4 months without SPEAKING AT ALL after her telling me to stop talking to him? (Genuinely 0 words)

I realised it has been four months. What shall I do?

    It's normal that she got jealous if you were talking too much to her boyfriend. She has felt betrayed maybe and she considers you like a treat to her relationship. She can't be blamed. I want my friends to like my boyfriend but I don't want them to become friend with him, no way!

    Just apologize to her. Even though she sounds like she needs to grow up. When you say talking to her boyfriend too much" what exactly do you mean? Because if you were "talking" as in "flirting" with her boyfriend maybe you need to talk to her and sort things out.

    After all best friends last forever and boyfriends come and go.

    Maybe you should care more about your friendship with HER instead of her bf. She tested you and you failed. If you really cared about her friendship you would of accepted that it makes her uncomfortable and stopped talking to someone else's boyfriend.

    Sounds like you need to reevaluate the situation and figure your shit out. Also, this site is 18+. GTFO.
