Is it normal that my best friend and i have never hugged?

I've known my best friend Nathan for six months. We became really good friends pretty fast. One thing that does not satisfy me with our friendship is that the two of us have never hugged. I know we are both guys but it seems that everyone, including guys, hug their best friend at some point. Is it normal that Nathan and I have never hugged? What steps do I need to take to get that long desired hug from Nathan?

    Then him you want a hug and full blow hug him if you guys are as close as friends as you say you are then him will hug you :p

    When you greet him shake his hand, pull him in and pat him on the back with your other hand. That's the ultimate "bro hug." I've never had it fail.

    Play video games together and when u finish a level hug him like u're so happy, or watch football or baseball together and when u'r team wins hug him.
