Is it normal that my bellybutton is this infected?!

Alrighhht, so I got my bellybutton done like October 24th or something, and it was totally fine at first, but then I looked at the bottom part and flipped. It lookes like my insides are coming out kinda, and it's like a red ball. So I like, poked at it, and it didn't even hurt- I couldn't feel ANYTHING. So, what do I do? And what the hell is it? Should I like chop it off? Ha, cause it doesn't hurt..? Pleaaase help!

    Sounds like a kiloid. I got one about 8 months later after being pirced on the top of my ear(cartilage). I went to the doctor about it. I took the earring out over a year ago & its still not fully healed... Although it smaller. Hope this helps!

    Soak a cotton ball in salt water and put it on your belly button for a few mins a few times a day. It will clear it right up. Also clean it with bactine throughout the day to keep bacteria away.

    The bump can be a kiloid... its just tissue that doesn't heal properly and forms into a ball and it should hurt

    The red ball goes away don't pop it. Oh and later on it will start stinking as it continues healing means you have to cleaning out every day, people will be able to tell if you skip a shower, and if you showered in the morning and are going on a date in the evening you will have to shower again, it could stink for some months. It often takes longer than a year in total to heal. I think mine took almost two years to be fully healed. Don't worry other piercings don't take such a ridiculous amount of time to heal, so you can keep piercing away!

    If it's just a little red bump then it's probably not badly infected. This has happened to several of my piercings and I just cleaned them with sea salt mixed with warm water. Less than a week later they were gone. However, I know several people who had bumps that never went away. I guess it just depends on how your body heals.

    That happened to mine. To be honest, it actually took over a year to heal properly! I know, sounds crazy, but it's true. I developed a little red ball on the bottom as well. Turns out it was filled with blood and puss. I popped it, and then it was fine. It went away, and I don't think it came back... though it was very sore for a while!!

    Yeah, you should probably see a doctor. If it's dead tissue at this point, you wouldn't feel anything, but you may have an infection that will continue to spread. See a professional before you become disfigured.

    And this is why we shouldn't get piercings where they don't belong!!!

    @BeautifulBaller
    The human body was never meant to be pierced anywhere. Earrings, gushes, bellybutton rings, etc are all foreign bodies and the body will naturally try to expel them.
