Is it normal that my apple earbuds don't fit in my ear?

You know the earbuds that come with your iPod? Yeah, those don't fit too well in my ear...whenever the cord gets snagged even a little, one side comes out of my ear (not always the same side) and I cant chew gum or anything because eventually the earbuds come loose and start to slip out. Is this normal? (I use different skullcandies now and they fit) could it just be what they're made of or do I just have small ears??

    I have the same problem. I have little ears and most headphones don't fit in my ear canal. The only ones I can use are the in ear headphones. I think I am the only one in my family who has ears like that. I think it's normal :-)

      I have the same issue, sometimes it really depresses me :/ i wish i just had normal ears like the majority. My sister said i have huge ears, but in all honesty i don't especially as i insert it into my ears they just don't go in :((. Anyway i hope it's normal xD

    No it's not your. Those are just cheap headphones that Apple gives out to appease the masses. Don't fall victim to their conspiracy! Rebel! Rebel I say! Rebel against Apple before they become too powerful!

    I don't get those Mac earphones, I can't use those, I like ones with the rubbery suction thing, the Mac ones just fall out and they are uncomfortable...

    I like the ifrogz in the ear phones, theyre comfortable and give awesome sound! I agree on the standard issue headphones, they hurt my ears and don't fit, so I give them to my brother. also, the standard buds only last a week.

    i hate all ear buds. i have to have over-the-ear "can" style or at least headphones that latch around my ears

    Hahaha, yep! Every time I smile or laugh they fall out. They piss me off so much! I find that gummy air headphones are nice. Plue they are colourful, and match with the ipod colour. :P

    I also have a problem with Apple's standard-issue earbuds. After a short while of using them, they hurt my ears. I picked up a set with interchangeable silicone tips and that fixed the problem. The Apple ones are just cheap.

    I can't use earbuds either, they hurt my ears or fall out because they're too large.

    My mum had the problem .. Only cuz she didn't realize one has 'L' for left ear, and the other 'R' for right ear. Maybe u have the same problem. Moral was I scored free headphones :)

    mine don't fit either. not everyone has the same size ears. for my ears, the headphone are too damn small. here's a suggestion though - my friend went to radio shack and got me some foam covers to go over the ears buds. it helps a lot bc it kinda makes the buds a lil bigger. the Microsoft Zune mp3 player comes with extra foam covers. I dunno why apple can't do the same thing.
