Is it normal that my 3 year old nephew loves video games?

My nephew loves all video games. He beat gears of war 3 and he plays Fallout all of the time. Is this healthy and/or normal?

He's a prodigy. Video games test your reflexes, quick thinking, and problem solving skills. He's probably really smart.

My nephew is 3 years old, last month. and he is currently playing assassin's creed 3!! (not very well.. it's mine he just wanted to have a try) and he's amazing at the assassin's ability to hide in a hay stack HAHA . but yes i think it is. When I was 3 years old (Now I'm nearlly 16) i starting playing the game Grand Theft Auto!! and to be honest i didnt have a clue what i had to do i just had fun doing it! now i'm a game-aholic! i love video gamees and im a girl as sexist as that sounds.. but i think its normal plus i believe if they are good at the game, its simply means that they are smart. they clearly understand how to use the controller and the reflexes in the game so i believe its a good thing :) they will most likely (specially if a boy) will end up playing video games in the future anyway, it won't harm them to start early!

Your THREE YEAR OLD nephew is playing GEARS OF WAR 3 and FALLOUT? That is some bad parenting right there...

Yeah. I started playing videogames before I can even remember. As long as he's not one of those scream at the TV kind of kids, let him make the great nostalgic memories he'll look back on after all the years.
