my little sister never stops masturbating. i havent been sleeping well lately because her room is across the hall from mine and i can hear her moans. it kind of sickens me that she is only 12 and she masturbates all night. i havent said anything to her about because she needs her space and she might just die if she that i knew what she was doing. its distubing and she does it until she falls asleep.(which is around 11 at night) so i only get abot 6 and a half hours of sleep because i have to wake up at 5:30 for college. is this normal???

    I really think you should talk with her, about it. She is young and could use some older sister input here. Also if she cannot seem to stop, she can at least learn not to awaken you!

    I started puberty at 11 and so did every other boy and girl in my school. So what is the big deal? Are you going to tell her to have sex with someone instead of touching herself? Yes it is normal.

    I read that it's normal for any age of girls to start masturbating. It's usually during the stages of puberty that they start, though. But you probably should comsult her because of the sleeping thing. But make sure to tell her that its perfectly normal, because being confronted about it might make her feel unhappy about herself.

    "no possible way she's watching pornos"?? Does she have a smartphone or a computer with Internet? If so, she can easily be watching porn online for free. Not that hard to find some. A toddler could do that. As for her masturbating so much... She's young, sexual pleasure is still a new thing to her, and there's nothing wrong with it. Although, it COULD lead to some issues later on. I am no expert in psychology, but I'd reccomend you at least try to broach the subject with her. Try to ease into it, and then when/if you tell he you know, or she tells you, be a supportive big sis and don't let it get blown out of proportion....

      my dad doesnt have any pornos(that she can reach cuz he keeps them really high on a shelf and when she gets on the stepstool she still cant reach) pretty much the only guy that had any pornos was my 24 y.o. brother and i saw him take the bag with them in it when he was packing up his car. ive been to his new house but she hasnt so theres no possible way she watching pornos. and even if she was she'd probably masturbate anyway.

    I'd confront her. I don't think it's right for her age, and she really has no need to right now, too young.
    Tell her to shut up til you fall asleep, talk to her or get your parents to.

      What the.. I dont see the problem. The ONLY problem is that she awakeness you, dont say anything to her about that, if it was me, ill be VERY embarresed, i would think about suicide. Let her!! Just use earplugs or something, damn..
