My 13 year old god daugher is in a "Relationship" with a year 13 boy. I know they have not had sex but he has gotten her a ring to promise that they'll be friends till she's ready. They have slept in the same bed and kissed and stuff. Is it normal? And if not, should I do anything about it?

Telephone social services and get the authorities involved if this child's parents are so fukn incompetent and stupid. I'd like to see him try to bed my daughter, I'd kick the pervert up and down the street!! That's too many years of an age gap for this young innocent girl.

Not normal if he is 18. I am 18 & I am not even attracted to 15 year olds let alone 13. Sick. He is way to old for her right now.

That may be enough to get him arrested for molestation. Even if she's "willing"
Even if her guardians approve of it, if it's outside of what the state laws allow he can still be arrested. And they can possibly lose custody if they're allowing it.

Not saying I agree with it, but I find it odd that a 40 year old can date / marry a 45 year old, but a 13 year old and an 18 year old raise eyebrows..it raises my eyebrow too but it's kind of a double standard. In both cases it's only a 5 year age difference.
That's because when you're in your 20s you know how to stand up and resist the charmers who want to use you.
when you're 13 hell it may be the first time a guy's shown interest. so you may not even know what you want.. all you know is that some guy is trying to sweep you off your feet.
and that may be why he's picked a child for his love. so that he can control her and shape her into whatever he wants her to be.
and don't give me any crap about someone that young being mature. i know some kids like claiming they are but... when mommy and daddy still pay all the bills and support you, you aren't mature enough to take on an adult relationship.
and that may be what the adult is banking on... being able to control her through seduction, finances, and physical strength.

But a 20 & 25 year old..hell, even a 38 & 48 year old is okay. (my parents were 9 years apart)
So basically, he should leave her alone till she's of age. Then it won't be looked down on.
I know, and I completely understand that..it's just kind of 'funny' if you think about it..my parents are also 9, well more like 8 years apart.
