Is it normal that mother in law sees ghosts

My mother in law constantly says she sees ghosts and often describes what I would consider demon like visions. It's all she talks about and Very much enjoys third eye as she says is it normal for her to be so obsessed with her hobby

    no man, it's cool. we don't HAVE to believe her but if she seems to be happy, cool, that's her bussiness.

    I would worry when she starts to blend the "hobby" with reality. My late grandmother saw ghosts and insect type visions, but she was about to die and had senile dementia, so she no longer knew what was real what was not.
