Is it normal that mint makes me sneeze?

Hi,
Not actually something I suffer from, but something i've observed in a couple of my friends, and so I was just wondering...

Is it normal that whenever I have a mint, or smell/taste something minty is makes me sneeze?

Once again; spoken on behalf of my friends there, like the title.
I reasoned my self that this is obviously some mild form of an allergic reaction, but I was wondering if you guys out there could tell me how common it might be, if you've heard of, or experienced anything similar yourselves, and how wierd my friends are! ;D
