Is it normal that me and my best friend slept together (both girls)
I've known my best friend since the beginning of secondary school and we've always been very close, we are now both 20 and live together at university. . She has always been a very touchy feely person who constantly wants cuddles or to just be close to you. Our relationship started to change a couple of weeks before university mainly in nights out, we'd kiss and dance together as if we were a couple and whenever a boy would try to pull her I'd "save" her by telling them I was her girlfriend. On my birthday night out we were both very drunk, we went to the toilets together and ended up passionately kissing, things got extremely heated until one of our friends looked over the toilet cubicle to check we were still in there. Later that night, she came back to mine and we ended up sleeping together. It was amazing. All night she was telling me "in an ideal world we'd be together" but that she "wasn't a lesbian" and she'd never felt this way about me before but she wanted this to happen. This got me very confused. We agreed that it was a drunken mistake and it happened because we are so close. When we moved to uni we had many fall outs because when I was drunk I'd ask her why it happened so that I could try and understand. It looked like we were going to permanently fall out and no longer be friends. After a couple of weeks we sorted things out and I stopped asking about that night. We are now closer than we have ever been before but her behaviour towards me has changed. She never wants to cuddle me anymore but will show affection to everyone else. I just don't understand.... Is what happened that night normal and do you think she could be acting differently because she has feelings for me?
