Is it normal that loud noises make me madi

I can't describe the extraordinary rage that i feel when someone makes a loud noise, even if it's my best friend I feel like hitting them in the face. I'm a really peaceful and loving person, as long as it's quiet.

I'm exactly the same. Loud noises really bother me. Music doesn't usually bother me unless I find it bad or if its so loud its setting off my heartbeat (like in clubs etc.)

But cacophony is unbearable. It bothers me so much. The halls of my high school at break time are hell. I have to beg a teacher to open the classroom early so that I can sit there with the door closed. Whenever someone comes in, I find myself yelling at them quite aggressively to close the door as quickly as they can because of the noise that comes in.

I have the same problem sometimes.

I have some Middle-Eastern neighbors in the apartments surrounding me and it's a common feature (at least in the Middle-Easterners around my area) within the way they speak to each other to sound like they are yelling at each other and sometimes I am woken up by their talking with the windows open or on the porches.

They are also very loud, they go outside and do work with power tools or they... I don't know what the hell they do outside but it sounds like they are beating pots and pans against each other.

I especially hate it when they leave their kids outside at night. They ride their scooters and made very loud noises. These people have no respect for the fact that their neighbors might have jobs to go to in the morning and aren't living off government refugee money.

What's worse for me is people who play loud music. It annoys the piss out of me and it pisses me off further that the concept that they are living in an apartment complex in close proximity to other people, many of whom have babies that are trying to sleep, may be sick or may be trying to work etc. might not exactly enjoy listening to "BITCHES BITCHES MONEY MONEY BOOTY BOOTY" being blared across the courtyard. These idiots have no sense of social courtesy whatsoever.

I'm not a doctor, but it sounds like it could be misophonia to me.

Some people have triggers that set them off.

What does madi mean? I like loud noises caused by machines, but hate those caused by humans!

Normally I don't feel violent towards others but sometimes I get grumpy. Last night my husband brought some friends over and they were a little drunk. One girl was so loud I wanted to smack her. It was after midnight and I all I wanted to do was sleep and was having trouble doing that before they arrived. She made it so much worse. If you saw me, you would have seen a storm cloud over my head. I didn't mind the muffled voices but this girl could have been in the same room with me.
