Is it normal that long posts bug me?
I hate it when people write multiple paragraphs for their is it normal stories. Like seriously bro, if I wanted to read that much I'd grab a book. Am I the only one that hates this?

I don't mind if they are long, but I do get annoyed when they don't use paragraphs to break up their massive wall of text.
As long as you don't write "tl;dr" instead of reading. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to spend a long time writing a story about something really sensitive then have someone throw it back in your face like that. If it is too long, don't bother reading.
Always use paragraphs though. It makes it hard to read if you don't and I've been known to give up half way though. And please use good spelling and grammer. I can deal with illiteracy if it is for a few lines, but if you're pushing the character limit I'd rather read something that looked like it was written by an adult. If you want a thought-out response, write a thought-out story.
It normal not to like the long novels that get posted here. It depends why you are here. If you are here for the laughs, you'll ignore them. If you are here to give good advice and help people, you'll read them. If you are here for any other reason, you might read some of them.
Mind you, I doubt you read my comment. Too long?
I'm sorry but it just goes to show how impatient people are now-a-days...
I do not mind length. I like reading long stories.
I only mind it when people combine length with horrible spelling and a complete lack of punctuation.
After all, if you want people to actually *read* a story why would you go out of your way to make it hard to follow? That boggles the mind.
As for short stories those are fine too - provided they aren't so short as to leave out important details.
Everyone has pet peeves, why would you doubt whether or not that was normal?
