Is it normal that lady gaga makes me feel like this

My friend died a couple of months back, and they played "just dance" at his funeral. EVery time I hear that song now I feel like I'm going to faint, not even just that song but any lady gaga song (they all sound pretty similar). IIN? Will this ever go away? Because they play lady gaga ALOT and its kindof difficult to explain why it makes me burst into tears.

    Y'all are
    Cunts!
She's talking about how her friend DIED and you're going to fucking make her feel worse?
    Christ.

It is normal, I have songs that remind me of negative things and I freak out when I hear them. I can't really give you muh advice because I still do this. But if you think about it, and realize it's just a song, it has nothing to do with your friend. Just separate the two.

Okay, what disturbs me is the song choice for the funeral.

I never listened to lady gaga, but my sister started playing it every time she drove me places, then I was moved out of the country and I haven't seen her in over a year. Every time I hear lady gaga songs (which is like everyday at school) I can't help but cry. It's normal, just try to remember that it's just a song, and like for me, we used to sing along together so I try to think about that more than the fact that I can't sing with her anymore.

It's normal. I can't listen to the song "Remember When" by Alan Jackson without crying because my parents both said they want it played at their funerals. Also, the day of my grandma's funeral I heard "If You're Not The One" by Daniel Bedingfield on the radio on the way there and for a couple of years I couldn't listen to that song without crying because it reminded me of it.

Don't listen to the radio. You can always hit next, skip, pause or stop. I'm sorry about your friend. I take it she was a dancer ? But just try and let go of the emotional attachment to that song and try an view it as just another stupid gaga song. I don't have much room to talk cause everytime I hear the Icarus account - mayday it brings tears to my eyes for my grandfather. RIP and I'm sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry about your friend. Since Lady Gaga was played at his funeral it's very normal that everytime you hear one of her songs, it will remind you of your friend. I would get upset just like you, that's understandable.
When you hear her songs, try to think of it as a positive thing. Your friend must have liked her music. Think of it as a sign your friend has sent you to tell you he's ok. Or when you hear one of the songs played try hard not to think of the funeral, but of something positive about your friend.
I am sorry about your friend, it's a horrible thing you have to go through and I hope your doing ok.

They must have played that song at his funeral bcuz it was a favorite song of his. That being the case, instead of feeling sad when u hear the song, u should remember him as special as he was, and remember that he's in a lot better place than u or i. If he could talk to u, he would say, "dont cry for me, im happy, i will see u again, i promise, i love you!".

I'm sorry you have all these people being the typical Internet dick heads. Try to tune out songs by lady gaga, leave the room or something. Her music has absolutely no meaning, just a catchy tune. It should die out pretty soon. You're associating her songs with an extremely traumatic event. That's kinda terrible that they would play that at a wedding.

    The hell...who selected the songs?
Well it's normal because you associate your grandfather's death with that song.

you just remember the days and feelings you had.I myself get very excited and think about something bad when i listen to My favourite Enrique Iglesias"s "Tired of being sorry".If you feel bad then try not to listen to her there are so many good singers round there

U people r way too sensitive and stupid.. I get that this person is upset over the lady gaga song but maybe her friend that passed enjoyed the song so if the stupid poster wants to faint every time a gaga song comes on then thats her problem, but there was no disrespect from me toward this post...
