There was one idiot who released a video of him burning his passport sending a message to the government telling them that he wishes to never return back home.

A few months later - he begs the government to give him a passport. The government said no so he goes on ranting on how his human rights have been violated by the government. The idiot used twitter for these rants not realising he forgot to turn off the setting showing his location when he was twittering.

What I think about this. Let the idiot stay there for all I care. I see citizenship as a privilege not a right.

What I would like is to watch him being put to death in the most painful and inhumane way possible, along with every single member (man, woman and child) of his criminally insane group of lunatics. If these religious fanatics are willing to die for their gawd, then I think we should oblige them. It is definitely time to take out this trash.

Just how does that make you any better than they are? And children too, who have no choice what insane group their parents belong to?

But they are raised to continue the insanity. If you don't eradicate them all then it is a continuing problem.
I'm so tired of the "Just how does that make you any better than they are?" argument. First off fighting these kinds of people by civilized rules is a no win situation; they ALWAYS win (look at the American revolution as an example).
Though IS purports to be a religious organization, it is in reality a business, nothing more. It's business is killing anyone who is not one of them or will not join them. Actually, EVERYONE!
Just why is it that you feel the children of this organization, who have been completely brainwashed and indoctrinated to be the monsters we see on their web site, holding the dismembered heads of their parent's victims, should be saved? Do you honestly think they can be deprogrammed and allowed out into society ever again?
Seriously, think very carefully if you'd want one or more of these little monsters living next door to you and/or those you love.

I don't know enough about the American Revolution to appreciate the reference so I'll just have to let that go.

I agree IS is in the business of mass murder, like most people I feel sick in my stomach whenever I see those initials, but I don't see how that justifies killing children, who had no choice about who they were born to. Would you personally do it? Kill small children who'd been brainwashed?

And no, of course I don't think they should be allowed to run free in society and nor would I want them living next door to me or my grandkids, but surely more mass murder, including of children, isn't the answer. Confining them somewhere secure would be preferable, they are after all, human beings.

I don't know if it would be possible to deprogram them, but I do know there's been some success rehabilitating African children who were kidnapped and forced to be child soldiers, including killing their own family members. How successful that's been long term I don't know.

Just found this on BBC online; "The Islamic State has up-ended life in Syria and Iraq, but its effects are more than just immediate.
This is the corruption of a generation. The children of the IS will grow into young men trained to kill and hate and they will trouble Syria and Iraq for years to come."
How else to end this endless cycle than to exterminate them?

I don't have an alternative to exterminating children but I have to believe there is one. That's not being a "bleeding heart" just a human being.

Would you have been in favour of exterminating all of Hitler Youth after WW2? They were brainwashed too through no fault of their own.

And I ask again, would you personally exterminate babies and children of ISIS parents?

The Indians used terrorism against the 'white invaders' and the American revolutionaries followed suit against the British, which is how such a small force beat the British, the most powerful military machine on the planet, at the time.
I truly wish there was another solution to the children of these fanatics, and though I abhor the idea of destroying them, I do not believe there is.
The civilized world can't seem to do very much to aid the peaceful migrants in the Med and SE Asia or the refugees from various wars in the Middle East or Africa, so I don't see how anyone is going to be able to deal with children who have been raised to be monsters under the guise of religious fanaticism. The child soldiers did have family (perhaps distant, but family none the less) to return to, or at least there were village members to take them in and offer love and support. The children of IS will be incarcerated in camps, probably to follow the path the Palestinians in camps took, slaughtering Olympic athletes and hundreds of innocent noncombatants on hijacked airplanes; becoming some of the most violent terrorists of their day.
Sometimes harsh reality is also the only practical solution, though we both know it will never come to that. The bleeding hearts will find a way insure the killing of so many innocents will continue, by saving a very few.
