So question, mostly for guys but girls could answer too. How many sexual partners is too many before marriage? Where would you draw the line? Please also be open minded about it, consider how modern day college campuses and club life are. Thanks!
It shouldn't matter. Although I think most guys would think a girl who has had a hundred partners isn't going to want a long-term thing with them and isn't worth investing effort in. Sad, but true.
As a teenager I was bothered. Then I realized its some personal superiority complex. It matters who a person is, not their history. They could be a different person, or it could be certain situations that I couldn't understand, or some people just like sex (and if shes a nice girl, then thats an awesome girlfriend to have).
Of course if you have std's, a murdering ex, or are wanted by the police then please let me know!
I have been married twice and I have only ever been with five people in my whole life.
The last guy I got with had banged 44 girls (hes 21). If he judged me for how many people I've slept with I'd laugh in his face. Anyone with double standards like that isn't worth anything. And even if he's only slept with a few girls, so what? He should be man enough to accept your number. Only an insecure guy would bother about it and who wants a guy like that :\

There is a major difference between wanting to know how many partners your potential significant other has been with before you came along and being insecure with your own qualities/attractiors for the opposite sex.

No there isn't. If you're secure you know that just because a girl has been with other guys before you doesn't mean she's thinking of them or that she's going to cheat.
Yes if you are secure its important to realize that the person you are dating has most certainly been intimate with other people before you came along, especially this day and age and if you are mid 20s or older.
That being said, no guy wants to know that the girl he has been dating was the town pump before he met her. Thats just disgusting. I would drop that person in a heartbeat. Its like saying, "hey just to let you know I have 3 kids from 3 different guys as well, are you interested in helping me raise them?"

You know, college isn't just about sex..I know some people use it that way but it doesn't have to be. But also, college is just kinda figuring out who you are. As long as you're having safe sex and not getting stretched out by a fucking dick the size of a baseball bat, I don't see a problem. =)
You should keep your "number" to yourself. No matter if it is 1 or 20. The past is gone. Move forward. What matters is how many people you sleep with after you're married. Lol

You should only consider if you yourself feel as though you've compromised your personal set of ethics. If you find someone that you love, it will not matter. (Provided you are free of STDs and guilt over your own exploration)
I think the number varies greatly, mostly based on each person's idea of what is acceptable / what they're comfortable with.

I've only been with four people in my whole life but if I was with a partner who had been with many people I wouldn't judge them for it. People live different lives and have different wants in life. I wouldn't worry about what judgmental people think they would have found something in your life to try and make you feel bad about, if not this then something else.

However, if you're known as the local 'bike' then if all his mates are talking about you, then he won't see you as much of a catch :o(
Some of my friends had a new partner every weekend and others none before marriage. To be honest, the ones who had lots of partners have now all split up - maybe they were still unsettled and searching for excitement.
I'd estimate 15 is more than enough!

It depends if you started to have sex at 17 and got married at 28-30 I would suspect like 10 at the max sexual partners. I know a girl my age at 18 that is slept with at least 6 different guys that I know of. Shes a bit of a slut
It's a bit slutty to be fucked all round. And believe me, the guys around you knows you'r a cheerful giver. So they'll only discus with each other about how cheap you are and not how good a wife you'l become. Slow gurl, sex isn't everything
i'm not marrying a girl that had more than 10 guys in her life, and 10 its cause i'm so freakin open minded, 5 would be much better!
So if you meet the perfect girl who treats you great and is your soul mate but if she is been with 11 guys there is no chance? I hope your narrow-mindedness doesn't cost you a chance at happiness.
well to be honest i don't know, maybe would be ok, maybe will eat me up inside.. don't know... The thing, females are the ones that are "entrusted" by nature with the power of choosing their mates and not the other way around. If they can't get it right the first 10 times, something is wrong with them. And just to be clear i don't have a problem being friends with them, bf to them, fwb, one-night-stand with them, just being serious withe them since they have proven that they don't know what the fck they want.
I wouldn't worry about it. I'm 25 and I've only been with 9 partners, but even if it was a high number, it's not worth getting embarrassed about. Just do what feels good.
If you have to ask the question, then it most likely is something that is negatively weighing on your mind, which it should be. Having many sexual partners is not only irresponsible (pregnancy) its also low moral and low class, not to mention dangerous (std's).
And anyone who is condoning or positively reinforcing this is just self-conscious about their own lack of morals and promiscuity. Any number higher then 10 is not good, especially if you are under 30.
I am 31 and mine is 4. If I met someone who was higher it would be hard to feel an attraction to them. Even 10 is alot.
Here's my rule of thumb. Sleep with as many people as you want without catching an std.
Why would you have to "tell"?? Ive been married 17 yrs. IDK my husband's number and hes never asked mine. We both agree past is past. But if you are asking, I assume your number is astronomical...? Lol. Im not judging...;)

People differ, some don't mind. Others might. There is no real figure you could put on it. Most have their own opinion on what's an acceptable number and what isn't. For some the acceptable number is zero. I know it's not quite the answer you were hoping for, but it's the truth :-)
