Is it normal that it leaks after i pee?

This is something that started up about a year or two ago.

After I pee, I really have to try hard to get it all out or else it continues to leak out. I'll have to stand there for an extra minute or two just shaking and squeezing to be sure it's all out or else when I go and sit down again, more will come out in my pants (kind of embarrassing).

I don't have any problems holding it before I go. It's only after that I risk having these "accidents". It doesn't hurt at all. While I'm in the bathroom it feels like I'm done, but then walking out I can feel a little more leaking out that I can't hold in. Sometimes even after trying very hard to make sure it's all out, it still happens.

I've thought about telling a doctor about this, but I don't see how there's any way that he could help me.

Doctors are medical specialists... I'm pretty sure they'd be able to help you.

Sure, Doctors can diagnose the cause, but most surgeries will only make it worse. Your problem sounds like either a collapsed urethra or muscles around the urethra may be damaged, weak or too strong(pinching off the urethra, trapping urine, then releasing as you walk).

It happens when I take a dump. I always get brown tracks and fudge balls in my drawers.

I had this!.. and I fixed the problem for me.

First of all, I was sitting down. Sitting down for guys causes a problem due to the shape of the urethra: it essentially causes a U bend where pee can get stuck. When you stand up, it usually leaks out... no matter how much wiping/squeezing/shaking you did before.

This problem can also occur even if you're standing up, but to a lesser extent.

I found that if you get your hand underneath your scrotum and firmly push up, into the hole at the bottom of your pelvis (behind the back of the penis, above the testicles). Push here, and shake from here...

You know when you have an erection, it feels like your penis goes further back than the base?.. you want to push on this bit, from underneath.

It takes a while to get the hang of. Now, I just put my left hand there and shake from here whilst bobbing up and down on my tip-toes and it fixed the problem for me.

Go to the doctors, by all means - but try this first! Good luck!

Ya, it's quite common. I try to be extra careful when wearing light colored pants or shorts. Every now and then, you'll see a wet spot because I was impatient. Oh well! It usually dries in 10 - 15 minutes.

Second going to see a urologist or doctor of some kind. Meanwhile try sitting instead of standing when you go to the bathroom.

    • This makes it worse. When I do, I always have to stand up and turn around to finish up. Actually, I think going while sitting down gives me a lot of trouble all around, as in I can't get it to happen unless I have to go really bad.

When peeing you have to make sure all of it comes out, you can get medical problems like a urinary infection.

    • Well my dad had an "enlarged prostrate" that they eventually found out was cancer. But I'm only 27 though and they say those things don't become an issue until later in life.
