Is it normal that it hurts when i breathe in?

Today, it had started to hurt when I breathe in deeply. It hurts right below my ribcage on both sides and deep in my eusophegus. It's really scary.
Additional details: I haven't eaten in a couple days but have been getting plenty of water and electrolytes. I also went on a 5K run today.
Is this something normal or should seek out a doctor? Also, please comment if you have any idea of what could be causing this pain.

I've gotten this on and off but I don't think I ever went to the doctor for it... Except, those times where I found out I had bronchitis. Why haven't you been properly eating? not eating can wreak havoc on your body. Try to eat something, if you can, and please don't hesitate any longer to go see a doctor!!!!

Costroconditus. (Spelling?) anyways- it's inflammation of the Chest cavity- more specifically, the muscular skelatol system in the chest region.
I have it- and at times it feels like a sharp pain when I inhale.
Technically it's my nerves that are inflammed- and misfire signals to y brain.
But I also have an autoimmune disease called lupus. So my imflammation is more severe than someone with just costrocondritus (spelling?) :P

Why would you not eat for a few days and then try to run? Your body needs more than electrolytes to fuel itself.

Do you run often though? You might just be sore if this was your first time.

I do run quite often but this one was all uphill.

I am making sure I'm getting enough electrolytes though, I've taking an electrolyte supplement

Definitely not normal, especially as you mention that you haven't been eating properly and have been on a run today. I really suggest you get an urgent appointment to the doctors, today or tomorrow.
