Is it normal that it hurts my heart when i lean to my left side?

Recently, my heart or hear has been hurting when I lean or lay down to the left. Leaning to the right it fine. I am thinking maybe it could possibly be a rib digging into my heart, but I don't think that would be it. I am not very old at all, and I never smoked or did drugs or anything. I've had a few panic attacks which could have affected my heart a little bit. When I lean to the left, I can't "sniffle" my nose or it will hurt more. I have to cautiously roll over, wincing in pain and sometimes hear sort of like a popping sensation of some sort when I roll. I believe it is my rib. Does anyone have insight on this? I am afraid to go to the doctors. I know that is stupid, but I just need some advice before I even think of going to the doctors. Is this normal?

Wow, same thing was happening to me a few months ago, it stopped though. It would just start randomly, sometimes walking in a store the pain came

If the pain doesn't go away after a week or two, then it's probably a good idea to get it checked with a doctor. But honestly it could be anything. Also from reading your profile what I would suggest is to begin demanding from your parents a more healthy diet. One that is low on fats and calories, and adhering to this diet. If your parents constantly buy soda, chips, microwave dinners, pizzas, greasy foods, etc, they're harming you with an unhealthy lifestyle which could lead to real heart problems down the road.

Along with a healthy diet, exercise is needed in order to burn calories and thus burn bad fats and toxins. If you eat healthy and exercise, you will lose weight, have nice facial skin free of acne, your face would also look slimmer and more attractive, and you would gain confidence that you never knew you had;)

There are lots of muscles around your heart. My guess is that you are pulling a muscle. Something has become tense. try doing some stretches.

If you don't think this is it, go to your doctor! I know how scary it can be to imagine the worst.
