Is it normal that is it normal hasn't unblocked my account yet?

Last sunday I found my account here on is it normal to be blocked. I know the reason, I am underage. Needless to say I didn't like it. I told my dad about it and he said he'd see what he could do for me.

He got into this site, looked up the terms of service and found out that usage of is it normal for underage people is in fact allowed if they got permission from their parents. My dad then sent a mail to is it normal saying that he allows me to use this site and he requested my account to be unblocked.

That happened last sunday, today is wednesday. They had enough time to give a response and unblock my account. They didn't. They didn't even send any mail in return, neither to me nor to my father. In the meanwhile, my account is still blocked.

Is this normal? Do such things always take that long?

    Folks, it's really simple. If you make it clear in a comment or post that you are underage, you will get your account deactivated. Write "I'm 14 and..." and you will get banned. That's the policy. So, don't tell us that you're underage and you won't get banned. Simple as that.

    Yeah, the staff is known to be a bit on the incompetent side.

    Regardless, I don't think I'd ever let my kids on a site like this.

      My parents are quite easy about that, they say I should just discover who I am. They don't want to hold back things from me, parents shouldn't be overprotective to their children. I guess I'm lucky with such parents.

        So how are you typing now? I was an adult when I stumbled onto this site so that part was never a problem for me. Are you operating a second account?

    I don't think they will do. The Terms of Service seem a bit wooly, but even though they do mention parental consent they also say: "isitnormal.com is intended for people 18 or over", "we have also made an effort to specifically limit isitnormal.com’s appeal to people of age 18 and older", "our services are not available to minors" etc.

    So I wouldn't hold my breath.

      Well, it's not such a big problem. So far they haven't blocked this account yet. I can live with that.

    It is your own fault. If you didn't want your account banned you shouldn't have been so open about the fact that you are a minor. What did you expect? When I was a minor on here, I kept that fact about myself to myself because I didn't want my account banned.

    Your parents are interesting... This site has some extreme adult content on here and there are treacherous child molesters that live under the woodwork and come crawling out at certain times. Like most sites, this can be a serious safety hazard for naive children. Etc. I wouldn't let any kid of mine use this site.

    So there's no delete account button but there's an "I'm xyz age" feature to achieve the same lol. I said xyz coz you never know if it's an automatic filter that doesn't understand context...
