Is it normal that in my dreams i brutally kill people close to me?

In the last 2 months I have had 3 dreams of escalating levels of horror.
In the first one I crashed a motorbike and had a conversation with my mum's decapitated head. No gore but needless to say that it wasn't needed to be disturbing.
In the second I killed one of my closest friends after she mocked my penis. I kicked her to death and that was very gory. By the end she was just a pile of bloody bits.
The final and most disturbing was very similar to something out of the final destination films. A burning train came though a station. A man tried to protect a woman by covering her body with his. To stop her seeing the horrible things he coverted her eyes and ears. Then her legs caught fire but he didn't see. Whne he did he fell away and she was totally burned alive. The girl was my best friend and secret love. The guy, i assume was me.
So is this normal? Please help. I woke up last night in tears from that dream. Thank you

    I dreamt that I killed my entire family. I'd dream about it every night, and sometimes I'd think that it wasn't a dream. I got over it when I was put on medication. Believe me, your story is child's play.

    Um.. I would say that it is kinda normal? I have never dreamt stuff like that, but a lot of people have, and been fine.. so.. yeah.

    I have extremely violent and gory dreams as well, and I'm a girl who likes kittens and flowers, so you'd never guess. I don't think it means we're crazy, at least I hope not.

    you were assuming it was you? you have to be sure who the guy was. what if it wasn't you. it was just a dream. the more you listen to userfriendlydrug, the worse you'll become. go out with friends or family and let yourself out.

    thats more of a sign. your subconcious is tring to tell you somthing listen to it. maybe your unhappy about somthing but show no emotion towards it. and all of your feelings are bottled up but breaking lose whild you sleep that would explain why you woke up crying.hope this helped:)

    100% normal, dreams of killing and death are in 95% of all cases completly normal, I'm sure if you got someone to do a quick dream analysis you could find whatbis causing these dreams such as work or school related stress, stress in the love life or other such related causes, goodluck!

    dude people have weird dreams all the time, just the other night i dreamt i was getting close to some woman and then threw up blood all over her

    Man I would hate to be you- not just cause of thoes dreams but ur bestfriend is your secret love!! That's hard. I've been in that situation and tonight I just got some good news if u catch my drift. ;) and that's not normal! Go to a doctor.

    strange dreams are normal and are a projection on the subconscious, not to be taken at face value. there is a lot of symbology in dreams. the death and gore may not be what it appears to be.
