So my sister is getting married soon. The only issue is that she is only 18. It's really bugging me that she wants to get married so young. I don't really like her boyfriend too much but I'm ok with him. I feel really depressed about it for some reason. I feel like she's ruining her life. What do you think?
Come off, some girls get married at 12, even in USA, though rare and not legal! Infact 9 year olds gives birth!!!! You are just jealous you havent found your loved one and I request you not to interfere in her love life as she is legally an adult and consider your own future. I know you will feel very lonely, I too will when I let go of my sister. So support her wish, and wish her all the best. Someday you will come across your true lover (I dont mean BFs/GFs people date for two or three months before break up) but the one you will chose to spend the rest of your life with. You will finally realize what true love is and the facts that age does not matter in true love and everything is fare in true love!!!!

Just because some nine year olds have given birth, doesn't make this a good thing to be encouraged. It's dangerous for these children.

No, no you are misunderstanding me dear! I dont support pedophilia at all, pedophiles are monsters; but I am trying to make the OP understand that thousands of people got married below 18. I admit my example wasnt good at alll. Nevertheless the real deal is that the OP's sister is an adult and can take her own decision, can marry whomever she loves and the OP has no right to interfere!
I'm willing to bet that your sister will one day get divorced. 18 is WAY too young to be getting married.
Way too young, but that's just my opinion. I think you should at least express how you feel about it to her. But keep in mind that she is legally an adult, so whether she takes in what you said or not, it's ultimately her life and her choice.
