Is it normal that im quiet, boring??

So im quiet. NOt that im afraid to speak or anything, i just feel that i have nothing IMPORTANT to contribute to the conversation or if i dont know much about the subject matter of what people are talking about. Sometimes i laugh or throw in a "yea" or a "hell yeah" but i NEVER START a conversation!!
I'm quiet around my parents, my friends, my brother who is probably my best friend, Im just quiet and i HATE IT!!

Thats right i hate being quiet, but i just have nothing going on to talk about.
This is Really afffecting my life..I have very few friends, and i think they dont like me, so i dont usually call tehm or anything.
How do i become interesting, like the Dos Equis guy..

Forreal this has to stop cuz its ruining my life!
Nobody likes the quiet guy.

Read books. That way you can learn a lot of things and you will always have something to say. It might help.

Just talk about random things! I have lots of conversations that always switch from subject to subject! Usually starts with something I found out or a question I ask. lol

Nothing wrong with being quiet. Means you're a good listener, no? I wish I were quieter: listened more; because believe me, anything I or anybody else has to say really isn't that important.

Read or watch the news. You'll be able to talk to people about them. For example, the weather, sports, politics, economy, entertainment.

I'm the same, and this is normal. But if you want to do something about it you should seek help. I got a job teaching and that helped me a lot. So, I think you could challenge this social anxiety with some activity that makes you face your problem, like taking acting classes, storytelling, or something of the sort.

Start screaming bits and pieces of interesting essays or facts at random people.

If you get "odd" looks or people stare that just means their interested, approach them and continue to pummel them with bits of information.
