Is it normal that im obsessed with my boyfriend?

So i'm definitely obsessed with my boyfriend, i just want to be with him every single day, he makes me so happy. hes in his twenties and still lives with his parents...i really feel like sometimes he doesn't really care, he stopped saying i love you everyday, idk he doesn't make that much of an effort anymore and its like causing me to go crazy. when he goes out with his friends it makes me feel sick because i just freak out idk and he drinks a lot when hes with them and me having alcoholic parents..i just hate it. what do i do :( i just love him so much and don't ever want to lose him, i consider him my best friend too but to him i will never be that. he isnt close with me and i tell him everything but he keeps everything from me. sigh.

Look up information on the effects of alcoholic parents on children. It is normal to "freak out" due to your ability to predict problems. To relate this to your boyfriend's response need more information.

Early twenties vs. late twenties is a big difference. Reasoning on living at home and poor communication can also be for various reasons. Give us some more feedback on it. Can make a world of difference.

My own story is similar but I am the boyfriend. Frankly I don't trust her she lives in a mental bubble. I believe it is to protect herself emotionally from the world. This likely started due to her father's intense drinking habits at home.

I am in the same spot but as the boyfriend.
-In my mid 20's living at home saving with a great job.
-Have tons of friends but prefer to stay in and read.
-When I go out drinking things get out of hand.
-Well educated and bored easy by mundane. 'OMG this band is playing and this TV show blah blah blah'

    Issues between us:
-She shuts down about real world topics
-Does not plan for the future.
-Does not seriously take my advice on important cases.
-She lives at home, works and makes me feel like I am dating someone in high school again.
-I have sat down with friends at school for 3 hour conversations. Can barely hold one with her for 30 minutes anymore due to restricted thinking.

So why do I stay with her? She is moral, well educated, funny, and is beautiful. Just mentally 16 while I feel 40 sometimes.

Analyze your situation break it down and see how he responds. Sometimes they are just reacting/mirroring your behavior. With the right conversation you won't have enough time to finish it.

He sounds like a jackass if he's following the footsteps of his parents. My ex girlfriend got drunk a lot and kept stuff from me. It drove me crazy. I thought I loved her. I dumped her pathetic existence. Best choice I ever made.

You sound like a 14 year old girl with her first crush.
You've already lost him, honey, you just don't realize it yet.
Time to move on and next time don't be such a door mat.
    Have some self respect!
