Is it normal that im not attracted to my race?

OK so I'm a black girl and basically My whole immediate family is confused and disappointed at me because I don't like black guys. I have never had a boyfriend before but whenever I get one, I prefer him not to be black. It is not like I hate black guys I'm just not attracted to how they look. Is it wrong for me to make this decision?

    It's normal. Attraction is not a choice. I am the same, I tend to be attracted to women who are racially different to me.

    It is NOT wrong. You are attracted to who you are attracted to. Some women are attracted to men, others women, and others, like you to those outside their race. I don't see a difference.
    Enjoy who you are and make no excuses to anyone.

    Normal. I have a cousin who is Mexican but doesn't like Mexican guys. Another girl is Peru Ian and only dates white guys with red hair. I know a guy who oh dated Asian chicks. shame if your family doesn't like it but if they just have to accept it not necessarily like it

    How are you black yourself but don't find black features/attributes attractive? sounds like a case of self-hatred to me

      No I do not hate myself I wouldn't trade this skin for anything all im saying is that I don't date my race. this isn't just some decision I thought of over night ive kind of all why been like this due to the neighborhood I'm growing up in.

    I can actually relate somewhat. It's difficult for me to find myself attracted to men of my own race (which is Asian).
    I just haven't been because I guess it's just my preference. But then again, I'm not shunning out all Asian men, it's just something I've noticed.

    Exactly, you're not making the decision.
    It's just a preference and maybe certain traits of other races are simply more physically attractive to you than those of your own race.
