Is it normal that im madly in love with a cartoon character? His name is Phineas from that programme on Disney XD called 'Phineas and Ferb'.I actually think that we will get married one day and have children, and that he is trapped in his cartoon world.I believe that he is also in love with me too and wants to be with me.I am a 40 year old woman. What do you guys think, is it normal?

    If you weren't 40+ years old it could pass as normal. A lot of cartoon/movie/game/book authors are exploiting intricate details of human psychology to make their work popular/addictive. In other words large portion of our emotional response to characters in fictious work is by design and provoked on purpose.

    Okay, I have to admit. I've been inlove with some anime dudes after the last couple of years but DAMN, MAN! Why are you inlove with someone that barely looks human?! And 40 year old woman?! Sorry, lady, but... that's just odd to me.

    What people clearly don't know is Love has no boundrys ^^ I too am madly in love with a cartoon. I won't say his name but I've loved him since I was 10 years old I am now 21 and still going strong. I am a huge fan of the show! I have never related more to anyone than I have him!! I've learnd over time that it's best to let things like this be your own persional secret, you see people are dumb thier minds can't comprehind such things beyond thier power. I think there should be a site where people can get together and talk about such things rather than seeking advice from a bunch of ass holes! Thiers nothing wrong with love, love dose what it wants when it wants and that's all thier is to it. And for the ass holes out there! Yes I have a boyfriend, we have an understanding about it. Soo Deal!

    it's ok to be fond of him. you're never too old to like kiddish shows, in my opinion. however, he's nonexistant, so you will never get married and have children. sorry, but it's the truth.

    umm it is normal to be in love with a cartoon character like naruto or sumone from an anime movie or show but i dont think its normal to be in love with such a kiddie cartoon. maybe u just love his personality.
